This year AhwatukeeHolidays will be featuring almost 12,000 LED lights, and is part of our continuing effort in going green!

For 2009, the river is now switched out to about 60% LED lights, and the NEW 2009 leaping arches feature dual color LED lighting.

The LED lights are growing every year, and in continuing on with the effort, I am hoping to be able to add an additional 14,000 LED lights next year, replacing all of the lights on the mini-tree’s with energy saving LED lights.

In addition to LED mini lights, the color wash floodlights, the strobe lights, and the roof stars are also all LED lights.

Aside from the energy savings, one of the additional benefits to going to LED lighting, is that the lights will not fade. I am currently having to replace lights every three to four years due to fading from the Arizona sun.
