In part of the display planning for 2007, there are now 43,000 additional lights, giving us for the 2007 Christmas season more than 100,000 animated christmas lights to brighten up the night sky!

2007 will also brings in new colors, a lot more lights, a few surprises or two, and one HUGE new addition to the display! We are now one of Phoenix Arizona's largest christmas lights displays, and hope to bring cheer to everyone this holiday season.

The total length of the lights strung end to end would be six miles.
The total length of extension cords is over 1/2 mile.

Learn about the hardware and software that runs our Holiday display.

The Ahwatukee Holidays christmas lights display is largely home built. The star, snowflakes, mini-trees, star field, the swags in the tree, and the large wreath are all home built. I have found that I need items to fill a specific need and this is the only way I have been able to create the display I want to show. I also enjoy building my own display items!

For great ideas on creating your own outdoor christmas decorations, visit DoItYourSelfChristmas.com

The show also features 554 channels of lighting controls. All hardware was custom designed and built by Ahwatukee Holidays for the display. You can learn more about the hardware here! (Including the geeky technical parts.) The hardware controls are similar to LOR (Light-O-Rama) or Animated Lighting 's control equiptment.
